Unfortunately, you probably took over something for Christmas. Have ordered extra here to support in times of Corona. Either hire more people for the day or take fewer orders. We understand that there is more going on at Christmas, but it could be managed better.

After I wasn't so enthusiastic about the availability by phone at first, the overall impression is very good in the end. The food was very good, the delivery went perfectly and the prices are very fair.

You can dine very well here. A pleasant ambience. I hope to come back soon after the lockdown.

We have today - wg. Corona - used the delivery service. 1/4 duck and roast pork were ordered. The delivery was on time - as agreed. Portions are very generous and tasty, the price is reasonable. We can only recommend this service! Gladly again

Unfortunately the kitchen has deteriorated a lot! Whether it was due to the capacity of the guests is questionable! The service staff was very unfriendly. No hello no goodbye! In total, we were eight people who gradually got their food spread over a period of 1.5 hours! When ordering drinks, two drinks were even forgotten! When we asked for an additional packet of ketchup, they threw it like a bone in front of our bibs! Overall very poor performance!

Very friendly staff. Real Bavarian, traditional cuisine. In view of the corona time, extensive menu selection. You will be brought to the reserved table by specially employed staff. I also observed that the table and menu were disinfected after each guest. Prices are very moderate given the portions (large).

Simply great, the bar in the hall that was just in the way, which was barely used for additional seating and to keep the corona distance away - gives the room a much more open flair and is also so interesting for large groups. Food, drink and service as always very good. Love the potato salad at Gasthaus Stift and nobody can do roast crust better in Kempten.

Were there 2 weeks ago with 15 people to eat. Had a long table in the beautiful beer garden, service was great, everything went super fast although it was quite busy! And the food was delicious !!

Super friendly and fast staff, food was delicious. Daily changing offer as a weekly menu. Great atmosphere both in the beer garden and in the restaurant. The Corona regulations are also adhered to in an exemplary manner. I would love to come back!

Very nice beer garden. Friendly service. Food very tasty. Top! In December we will take a look at the inside.

We have been coming here for 7 years. Today we are falling from all clouds. 4 people get the food at different times, the longest was 35 minutes, the children's portion of spaetzle with sauce, the cheese sparrows went back cold, the service was very unfriendly from the start. Only a few tables occupied inside. We'll save ourselves the next time whether we drive another 45km here.

The beer garden has a nice atmosphere. I ate and drank great. The staff was friendly and attentive! I was there alone twice within a short period of time, which is why a reservation would have been (almost) unnecessary.

There is no evening ticket before 6:00 p.m. sharp There are only 4 more dishes on it than on the afternoon menu. Including 2 dishes. The food almost without seasoning. Really bad! After changing guests, the tables are roughly swept with a single wiper. However not desified. Not even the chairs. Guests without adequate mouth and nose protection

Very nice atmosphere, rustic, traditional and tastefully decorated. The food was delicious and plentiful. The staff, despite Corona security measures, relaxed and professional. The price-performance ratio more than good. We would love to come back.

We visited as we like real beer from the local area. Interior was a bit bright and modern. Food was good - traditional roast pork dish was very tasty and I had the pastry stuffed pork served with onions and potato salad which was excellent.

Very slow service

Good prices, nice traditional interior, also the waitresses are wearing traditional clothes. Tasty food, they exchanged the french fries for veggies like I asked, which isn't the case sometimes at other places.

Bavarian cuisine, great baked potato with sour cream, boiled sausages and delicious apple pie. Waiters are dressed in traditional costumes!

Man-sized portions of standard German/Bavarian fare, good beer but not very cold, friendly, efficient staff. The place is big but fills up due to really affordable meals. Offering lunch options, dinner, a special game menu and traditional cold meats and bread supper. We enjoyed the liver and the roast, both dishes too large to finish and very tasty.

This restaurant is suitable for meeting point or banquets.Because of the spacious area and located in the town. There is a beer garden next to the road.Sometimes the noise from the car traveling around. or sitting in restaurant ,there will be no traffic noise. There are many food to choose from. But somtime the food is very salty. (salad)

Tasty authentic food

A great restaurant offering traditional German Bavarian food. Friendly waiters and excellent tasting food. They have pretty good prices as well. I have been visiting the restaurant a couple of times and never been walking away disappointed. I would have been giving 5 out of 5 stars if it wasn't for that if you come in a larger group, normally you don't get the food at the same time, which is a shame because you do want to eat all together and at the same time. But that is also the only negative thing I can think of, and the friendly staff compensate good for that anyway. The staff is ways smiling and being nice even though the restaurant is full.

Very nice and comfortable place to have a nice meal. Schnitzel are delicious. I recomend to everyone.

Nice place with good food and Big plates. Zwiebelrostbraten was "okay" but nothing special and a little more Medium to done than Medium rare as it was ordered. Käsespätzle have had good taste though I was missing a the special Taste of stronger cheese like Bergkäse etc.. Therefore the "Hochzeitssuppe" was fantastic! Altogether good 4 stars!

I figure one of the best places right in the heart of Kempten just a stonethrow from the main attractions of the town. It's got everything you expect from a real Bavarian experience - for locals and tourists alike. The food is tasty, portions should work for everybody (i recommend the Käse Spatzen, which I loved since i was a boy, but you got to use the right cheese - the Stift does !). The waitresses are dressed up traditionally and get the job done, while still remaining friendly.) The building is impressive and features a Biergarten for summer visits. While the interior is huge, it can be packed these days, so reservations might be a good idea.
